Nixie the Siren

Nixie, an 18 year old Siren who grew up believing she was a mermaid but once she turned 18, her sire traits sprouted, leaving her an outcast. Here I demonstrate my abilities to think outside the box of what is typically expected of a specific character design. In developing this character, I decided to incorporate aspects of anglerfish and x-ray fish to create an aesthetically different mermaid type character. I also made more effort to display form and depth in her anatomy and posing. With her color scheme, I developed them to convey an odd outcast who is a beautiful misunderstood soul.
